Failed at designing a Eurorack module.

I tried making a Eurorack mixer module since it's a module I still need and thought how hard can it be? It's essentially the hello world of modules and it failed.

I used different potis than I originally planned via the schematic and it seemed I can't get around ordering new ones since these ones were meant for a digital Arduino project anyway. So I'm not entirely sure what happened but I only get controllable hum and no volume control.

At least I tried but it seems Ive no luck with electronics. Digital Arduino stuff works fine at least.

Will see might get back at it again or order the correct parts maybe :P

Today my new #PCBs arrived. The first is an adaptation of Stefan Wagner's #C64 Power Guard: oshwlab.com/wagiminator/c64-po
I changed some components to what I had available. Thanks @aislerhq for manufacturing them.
Only I messed up two small details. The second #comparator is backwards, so the error #LED is practically the same as the power good LED. And I also put in the #MOSFET backwards. I'll try to mount it on its back and rotated tomorrow.

I need a single XOR gate. Should I:

1. Use CD4070 and ignore the other three gates? 40¢ in single quantities. SOIC-14 amount of space.

2. Build it out of transistors? 5-6 transistors, ~13¢/transistor in quantities of 10.

3. Something else?

I'm a #queer #punk interested by a lot of things, mostly #music and #arts

I'm into #experimentalmusic , #synthetizer and #diyelectronics

I've been on Mastodon for a while on a different instance for #activism and #anarchism related content, this is my "public" profile for my friends and fellow #lgbtqia from #brussels

I will not be posting much, and my content will most likely be about music and #dance #poledance but who knows 😸

I have this old 5.1 PC speaker set with the amp embedded in the sub. I've been using an old computer to output a stereo signal to all the speakers, but it's a bit annoying, since sometimes levels and mutes get reset, and I have do adjustments in alsamixer. So I decided to make a simple passive mult for it. It has a built in passive crossover filter too. And, to my great surprise, it even seems to work.
