Just shared this with a friend and thought some of you might like it. Probably the shortest #TedTalk ever from Derek Sivers about dancing and #Leadership and the importance of the first follower. Seems especially relevant at the moment as I'm talking to some #CommunityBusiness folk tomorrow about an idea I have for creating a sort of hive mind and skill swap project to help them support each other. I have unexpectedly already got my first follower and massive thanks to one of our funders for offering me a small grant to pilot this. 🕺💃 youtu.be/fW8amMCVAJQ?si=d4wqBb

@lisagetspolitik just thinking about ways to try and help UK #charity #CommunityBusiness off the evil social media places and onto fediverse or other platforms. Do you know if anyone is doing any #gamebasedlearning on this or of any useful resources specifically aimed at #nonprofits. Feels like there is a real reluctance to move as they are worried about losing all their followers. I have some great stuff about using #MightyNetworks and we are beginning to use that and show others how it works. Thanks

The 99% work hard on making stuff that the 1% then sells back to the 99% at thrice the price that the materials and the wages originally cost. The 1% call this profit. That's insane!

Just cut the middle man, all the CEOs, the Execs, the bosses. You don't need them. Small, Community-based businesses are the way to go. Screw all these big, greedy corporations. Stop climbing the corporate ladder that you yourself made in the first place.
