We're not just giving a mandate to a party, we're giving the next government a mandate internationally. If only 60% of us show up to vote, that's a far weaker mandate than having 95% participate. I would love nothing more than to have our next PM be able to say that he has the support of an absolute majority of Canadians when he goes into negotiations, or when he tells a certain fool to take his 51st state bullcrap and shove it.

I'm not an #NDP supporter, but if I were why wouldn't I look at @338Canada and conclude that the chance of the #CPC winning is very small, and anyway that the policy differences between #MarkCarney and #PierrePoilievre are narrow? Why shouldn't an NDP supporter vote for the NDP given the current situation?
