I am in Bangkok, Thailand! I am attending this #DeltasUNite Summit #DeltaSummit25 for the preparation of the United Nations Convention on the Conservation of River Deltas (#UNCCRD), on behalf of the Transboundary Water InCooperation Network (TWIN). I gave a talk on:

What I'm eager to see is a longitudinal study with a large, well-chosen sample.
A multi year study of students from my own #AlmaMater, #BenningtonCollege exists: "Political Attitudes Over the Lifespan: The Bennington Women After Fifty Years," by Alwin, Cohen, and Newcomb." It's a really interesting study, but as an alum, I'm truly aware that you can't generalize very much from a sample of #BenningtonWomen.

A couple of thoughts:
Some folks consider #Hogwarts to be #DarkAcademia, and there are lots of #HarryPotter fans who would like to be students there.
I graduated from #BenningtonCollege, which #DonnaTartt used as a model for the college in "The Secret History." I occasionally ask myself whether I would choose that experience again, if I had a chance. I've never come to a firm conclusion!
