@jerry Given you're an infosec specialist & i'm not, i fear my reply will be far too low-tech & off-topic for your intentions in this poll. So, fwiw...

  • #AnyDesk & #RustDesk have worked well for me for years when i connect my #ArchLinux #KDE #Wayland pc to my dad's win10 pc to do remote support
  • AD & RD also work well connecting my Arch pc to my other Linux pc's IF i run their penguins in Xorg... but are incompatible with Wayland remote targets [this is now a major problem for me]
  • #TeamViewer does support Wayland Hosts & Remotes, but i HATE using it & wish i could purge it!
  • I would love to use #FOSS options like #Remmina, or #Krfb + #KRDC, but am too stupid to understand how to tell them the applicable network addresses, so i've never managed to get them working

... A gift to all Arch users 🎁

We have finally published the all-new #XeroLinux multi-DE Install script !

Guide has been updated to reflect the new changes, please make sure to go through it all, and most of only use on production machine once you are confident it works.

Report any issues with it on our Discord nowhere else. Keeping in mind it's WiP...

Updated my Arch Linux host, my Debian unstable VM and upgraded my Fedora VM to 42!

So far so good. No crazy shit has happened ! I even ran apt autoremove on Debian unstable and didn't get stuck on grub rescue !

I thought I was going to be playing "detective bear" and smoke some imaginary cigar as I investigate which part of the upgrade broke who's who.

I like playing "detective bear"! Keeps my brain engaged and you get a little surprise sometimes !

I finally managed to fix my "problem" with #LoRaWAN proof of concept end device. Basically my #archlinux settings with #arduinoide sucked so much, that even if it said it uploaded code, it didn't... I think it is a usb permission issue, but whatever, sometimes dualboot with windows has any more usage besides playing cs 2. Now I need to motivate myself to learn how to use linux ;) Thanks for any help!
