A quiet spot in a big city.<br>
<br>
It is the most famous city lake in Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake, and it offers peace too. Even if the rest of the area is bustling with activity in the evening. <br>
<br>
The city lake of Hanoi are one of my favorites in Asia, particular in the evening when people are using it as a social arena. Both by locals and visitors. It is a place to meet, greet, eat and drink, and to read, quietly observe or seeking inner peace. The park and the lake is big enough even for rather peaceful activities.<br>
<br>
The area around the lake is already used for morning classes and individuals doing Tai Chi.<br>
<br>
And now meditating people is adding to their numbers mornings and evening.<br>
<br>
The concept of meditating in public spots has been on the rise the later years, according to local media.<br>

My argument for shooting portraits with a wide lens instead of telephoto.
In this video we are heading to Kathmandu in Nepal and sharing some lovely moments with the local people in Nepal and exploring a little street photography. And we’re shooting wide instead of long.
What a difference a year learning and using #darktable makes. The old edit (https://pixelfed.pandainthecloud.de/i/web/post/568498120585073387) looks really out of place compared to this.
