But since richdecibels took the lead of tuning as one of the enspiral members into the fediverse, may more to come.

All different types of plattforms, still they all federate with each other.
@paulfree14 @Matt_Noyes Enspiral is a big mass of people with minimum viable consensus. Enspiral doesn't "promote" any of those platforms. Some individual took the initiative to use them because thats the tool they thought was right for the job, then others joined in. In other words, alternative platforms need to compete in usability and convenience, as well as ethics. I think Mastodon is basically there now.
FWIW, #scuttlebutt is being built with a lot of enspiral brains and hearts.
