If you are working for a firm in another country and if they pay you according to your country's salary range, how is that when I am doing the same as the people in the other country my firm is located in?

@paws equality and equity are two different things. Companies strive to be equitable in most cases.

@paws Equality is not the amount of money you get paid, but that everyone has the same quality of living.

Would it be fair if you all get paid the same but you pay only one third of their rent for a similar apartment? I don't think so.

@paws Totally agree. Our coop is international and we all pay ourselves the same. I think paying based on locality just reinforces wealth disparity.
