Why do we talk about Russian oligarchs but not American oligarchs? Honest question.

@ntnsndr Because US oligarchs butter the bread of US politicians, who work in tandem with the mainstream US press to deceive the US public together.
This is an oversimplification, of course, but you can keep adding other sectors like the US weapons and mass murder industry and other US industries and the pattern becomes more evident.
Even in best case scenarios of the least crookedly rotten US politicians under the brand of "US socialism".

@ntnsndr Somehow it's easy for us to recognize the unjust capture of public wealth in the post-Soviet context, but hard to acknowledge we've built an economy that structurally concentrates wealth almost as effectively... and still from the public, ultimately, but through different means.
@ntnsndr Why do we not talk about all oligarchs? Why is it that it''s only Russian activity that looked at when it comes to election inteference. Why not look at all such activity then have a comparison chart so we can put it into perspective.
