πŸš— I'm involved in organising a hackweek in April for trustroots.org - kind of an open source and free alternative to couchsurfing etc, that came out of the hitchwiki project (so lots of hitchhikers on it...).

πŸ‘ it kind of represents a bit of a reboot of the project, to get more active team again. and we're keen to make it more community-driven...

❓ feel free to ask me questions!

@joli indeed, the founding team for trustroots actually came from bewelcome.

(I'm not longer involved in trustroots though)

@nicksellen Was there a rift? Because I think they'd be stronger together

@joli I wasn't around then, but I understand different ideas on process, with bewelcome taking longer for process or discussions, and trustroots more like get things done, or move fast and break things... Something like that.

Personally, I'm curious for an activity pub hospitality protocol, then multiple can interoperate.
