Hey y'all, Fedilab is doing a poll about implementing a feature to see if someone blocked you. This is a bad idea and is only good for stalking people, it's private data.

Please vote no on it (this toot is an answer to that vote)
Boosts appreciated

in other news, turns out "my year of rest and relaxation", which i'd heard about but never actually googled, is a novel and not a nonfiction how-to guide. disappointed. how was everyone else's long weekend

I met some kittens today. They all had names starting with Z, but I'm not sure which this one is. Let's say Zellia. #mastocats #catsodon

Borked decent electronic device, computer, phone, tablet, something? If it powers up, but doesn't do what you want it to, I can probably turn it into something else for me, and would cheerfully trade some art if you pay to ship it to me.

Wipe. Your. Data. First.

Heck, I'll art for non-borked devices, farming equipment, and other things I haven't thought of yet, too. Probably won't be high end/high concept art, but it'll be art you can print or have me host on RB.

(On top of trip to High Park, had long and quite late work shift)

Dream journal: trying to catch and kill a horsehair worm coming out of a green treehopper; accidentally broke my phone screen; impromptu cat bath; The Favourite but a Menken/Schwartz-penned musical; getting home from Davenport station; and more. Yesterday was very tiring

(Reminds me of a comment I saw recently in a bug ID forum: "Is this a normal place to find mites?" A better question: is there an *abnormal* place to find mites? Outer space, maybe.)

It seems to be too early in the year for many spiders...but my spider-finding skills are seriously lacking so there's probably lots out there I just didn't see.

A lovely meander through High Park. Saw cherry blossoms, Canada goslings, hoverflies, chatty ants, fighty ants, moss, trilliums, some very neat fungus, and a few spiders - including one I haven't seen before!

Obligatory cherry blossom selfie 🌸

lmao got all the way to high park and realized I forgot my selfie stick 🌸
