this really pisses me off. i went to cal poly for a few years, and at the time, i felt like we were making serious strides in improving campus culture, and curtailing this kind of bullshit, but over the past couple years it's been continuous backsliding, to the point where i'd have to warn prospective students away from my alma mater, no matter how beautiful the scenery and quality the public transit and good the engineering program is. and of course, seeing as i dropped out and live far away now, it's not like i can really do much of anything to help there.
