Is motherhood the unfinished work of feminism?

Interesting!
Would love to see surveys about class differences in this regard.
Few ideas:
- Parental leave (and it's expenses to the employers) be shared more equally between mother and father.
- Provide regular visits by a nurse to at-risk (no education, criminal record, etc.) first-time pregnant mothers.
- Allow parental leave to be used in a flexible way.
- Shared coop owned spaces for childcare and office work.
- Promote remote work as its easier to combine with childcare.
@nadia Thanks! Interesting read regarding 'queer feminism'. I think taking the perspective of 'material feminism' would enrich that discussion :)
Especially when looking into what part motherhood plays in modern families and how that system is intertwined with capitalistic reproduction.
Would be cool to see that in the movement, by activists. But when it comes to academia I actually would demand it. Scientific discourse needs to see all the perspectives, right?
