I asked my doc to check my thyroid just to rule it out.

And then I thought, what if that's the problem, and taking thyroid hormone just... fixes it. That actually happens sometimes.

And then I imagined the conversation I'd have with the people supporting me. Imaginary me was so relieved to have independent proof (in the form of a cure) that I'm not lying or making it all up.
