How America neglects older adults on the spectrum

Simply accessing care can be a monumental task... “We knew it was wrong for people with disabilities to be institutionalized on a massive scale, but we seem to look the other way when they’re older.”
and, honestly, becoming cognitively unable to do some skills I retain, at least some of the time.
I was thinking of being too emotionally exhausted to write to people as an example, previously having been somebody who tended to write way too much in personal communication.
But my experience of burnout also includes fluctuating brain fog that can just shut abilities off for me that I could've practically done in my sleep on good days before.
I don't know what to say
@AbbieNormal it's forcing me to slowly & painfully learn how to live my life in a way that's healthy or at least tolerable, so it's not all bad.
