I dont want to put transsexual in my profile, mainly because while I am, that phase of my life is behind me medically and I am trying to get on with navigating life's full complexities. The history of the catholic church and the papacy is constructed on targeted hate. From the antisemitism and racism it spread at its inception, today that hate for "the other" is aimed at LGBTQ people, in particular transgender people. Wim Wenders propagandising Pope Francis as a progressive is disappointing. I dont really care what good acts you do when one of their functions is to provide cover for you to spread hate of people who are already powerless, harmless and ostracized the world over.

@wion @remotenemesis well, I think there is a need for a place where people can post a long article without having a blog of their own. In as far as Medium was able to provide that, I liked it.
