Late sleepers are tired of being discriminated against. And science has their back.
@Antanicus @mayel fight back, make it unacceptable to get up early....
Use analog snarky comments,: "You were'nt here at 18:00, so I did it for you" or "off home already? What a life!" or even "You left the light on in your office, I didn't want people to think you were working late, so I turned it off"
Refer to the WC as "The early shift's reading room"
Suggest grumpy coworkers "Get up a little later to improve their mood."
Push back! ;)
But what about the people who arrive late and leave early?
@webmind @mayel @Antanicus they are "doing it right " of course!
@mayel We should schedule a late afternoon march to draw attention to this!
@mayel yes, SO TIRED.
@mayel DOWN WITH THE SYSTEM
@mayel Just posting in this thread in case anybody reads it later: I'm an extreme night owl and I got my cycle under control - for real - after years and years of trying, by managing my light exposure and using microdose melatonin. Happy to explain if anybody wants.
@mayel My rhythm shifts the other way, and I'm almost always the first one in the office.
@mayel I need my jerk dog to read this article.
@mayel OMG YES about fucking time!
