To make matters even more interesting, mastodon.at knows about ours and theirs, but not about octodon.social's (i.e., same behavior as ours):

So, maybe it's got something to do with what/how octodon.social shares.

Maybe @ekansa can find out who the admin(s) is/are there and chorus them into this discussion?

@kensanata @paregorios @zatnosk @Antanicus @mattcropp @ekansa oh that's a long thread. hashtags only matter when in a public post (and not unlisted), and it likely does too in search, so that's usually the thing to check. hashtags should index toots as soon as they're received by your instance otherwise

@paregorios and I have a question about the behavior of hashtags across instances. My posts don't seem to be showing up in the same way as others.

Am I doing something wrong or have some setting improperly configured?
