At last tested in a real meeting: jitsi meet with live, simultaneous interpretation:
@Matt_Noyes it worked very nicely. The ability to put the slider in the middle was the best aspect for me. Also keeping everyone in the same "room" and allowing anyone to just start speaking regardless of the language made the meeting much smoother than our experiences with mumble, where there is a lot of waiting for people to change rooms.
@jamiem One thing that was interesting about the old way (separate rooms) was that it also provided space for people working in different contexts (culturally, politically, etc) to share experiences. It may be good to continue providing that space from time to time.
