So the other night Miles, our 20yo, comes in and says he wants me to watch this anime w/ him, it’s called Blue Lock and it’s about a Japanese soccer madman who decides to stick all these players in a giant camp together so they can use these high-pressure tactics to create the world’s best striker. After I had him explain what a striker was, I said, “Well I love Ted Lasso so why not this?” His blank expression is so rewarding. Anyway we’ve now watched a bunch of episodes and it’s good! #BlueLock
Also I thought it was funny that during his striker explanation he said, “Zava is a striker,” and I immediately knew what he meant.
@hollie Ted Lasso is on my "must watch eventually list" but I have to say, from what I've heard of it, it sounds like a polar opposite to Bluelock. *laughs*
