There's an amazing number of #ActivityPub #alternatives now available or under development:

Twitter -> @Mastodon and #Pleroma

Instagram -> @pixelfed and @anfora

YouTube -> #PeerTube ( @Chocobozzz )

Soundcloud -> @funkwhale

MeetUp -> @GetTogetherComm

Medium -> #Plume ( @BaptisteGelez )

Reddit -> @prismo and Anancus ( @tuxether )

LinkedIn -> @cloutstream

Google Calendar -> @calendar_social

Anything missing from the list? What else is needed?

@switchingsocial Office-like documents. Like Etherpad and Ethercalc but somehow enabling collaborative work.

@h @switchingsocial nextcloud mentioned something similar to G&$% docs available in their app store.

@markus @h

Yes, think Nextcloud have a Google Docs style collaborative document editor?

@switchingsocial @markus @h

Yes, they do. You have to also install another project - Colabora online, which isn't easy unless you also install docker, however it's pretty robust and decently featureful.

@Blort @switchingsocial @markus @h I have been mildly interested to try LibreOffice online aka collaboraoffice.com/collabora- but I havn't cared enough to attempt to install it (stand-alone or with a *cloud framework).
