@animeirl I once believed that 8 GB RAM would be enough to run two different browsers with a few pages loaded in them for reference, whilst writing code in a terminal window.

That proved to be the wrong assumption.

@h maybe its because i have an ssd so using swap isn't a big deal but ive never run into problems

@animeirl Yeah, I've just been lazy to change my laptop for a few years now, and you're probably right, a SSD drive would probably help. It's still a fairly decent i7, but a change of hard drive would be needed anyway.

@h To be fair I don't think it's all the browsers fault, web devs in general make pages garbage.
