I have a date to explore fedwiki with some ppl who know their way around, I just haven't had time yet.

long-term I am interested in moving away from mediawiki towards something more lightweight, more like a git repo where lots of people can have different copies and pull and push between them, but I haven't found something that can do all the nice things mediawiki does, and probably won't (moderation, curation, templating, semantic mediawiki, etc )
