Well, that's *one* beauty of it anyway. It has many beauties -- most important probably the beauty of what the community posts :)
The beauty of Pixelfed is that it talks the same protocol Mastodon does, [[activitypub]] -- so you can follow Pixelfed accounts from Mastodon and the other way around without issues. (This is the equivalent of following Instagram users from Twitter and vice versa.)
