There are four good things worth practicing. Being kind toward everything alive. Staying level and steady. Feeling happy for any creature anywhere that is happy. And remembering that any suffering is also yours.

Ha! My friend the Buddha said that! It's called the four brahnmaviharas - Divine Places of Dwelling. How right he was, this is deep teaching! A complete agenda for living a life in a world containing so much absurd shit! He's right in the front line!

Would he be a monk today? Maybe a global-nomad p2p organiser?! A activist? A bioregion solidarity economy developer? All these lives can be lived with benefit, in the rhythms of the brahmaviharas. Good on you, Siddharta!
