@edsu you know, this is interesting, and I think there is something to it. However, in bleak circumstances, for the average person, it may be preferable to be constantly distracted than to be actually able to properly concentrate. Life is hard and when I’m distracted I don’t have to concentrate on that. For a lot of people, getting into a flow state is not plausible. They live in a tiny apartment with a crying baby and their job is to just clock in and be abused by strangers😔
