It was interesting to hear how Snowden studied whistleblowers like Ellsberg when he made his decision to share his archive with Poitras, Greenwald, Gellman and McCaskill instead of an org like Wikileaks.

But Ellsberg had few precedents to draw on. In the discussion on YouTube, which was surprisingly good, there was mention of figures from antiquity. I finally picked up a copy of Doomsday Machine which I've been meaning to read for some time:
