Played all morning in a busy café in Đà Nẵng. Simply one of the best games I know, and I just discovered it recently. social.coop/media/zkdKAWlWnpSG

My instance just got a new home on a new server, upgrading from 11 to 12 on the go. I'm impressed how painless this all was.

This documentary shows an unsettling big picture of the global dairy industry. It makes me sad how people become people treating living beings as means of production and profit. arte.tv/de/videos/062939-000-A (in German)

Nope, it's a runtime configuration thing! Debian sources a global S/Mime configuration that's missing on NixOS, just copying smime.rc fixed it already. Now investigating if I can fix that package properly...

Debugging S/MIME in Mutt on ... I got a working Docker container with my configuration, so it's got to be some build configuration / dependency thing...

Here's a fun TIL: Because the ratio of terms in the Fibonacci sequence approaches phi, and because phi is close to the ratio of km to miles, you can approximate conversion between distances with adjacent Fibonacci numbers.

So 2 km ≈ 1 mile, 3 km ≈ 2 miles, 5 km ≈ 3 miles, 8 km ≈ 5 miles, 13 km ≈ 8 miles, etc, etc

PirateBay is using visitors' browsers to mine Bitcoin?

The problem is that you're running untrusted code any time you visit some random website. This is hardly the worst thing that can happen to you. Actually, it's probably one of the least (except maybe to your battery life).
