She maps out 3 types of “value streams": livelihood work (labor that creates the income for a project), love work (probono work to benefit the community by contributing to the commons), and care work (the labor that goes into supporting project members, such as the admin work). 💚

By explicitly naming these 3 value streams, DisCO seeks to visibilize all types of labor that go into sustaining values-driven projects. Whereas livelihood work is traditionally the only labor compensated, these other types of work are equally vital for sustainability. 💜 👇
