Introducing CalyxOS: cybersecurity and counter-surveillance for your phone
The Calyx Institute is excited to announce the launch of a new security and censorship prevention project: #CalyxOS for #Android phones!
They deleted that blog post about #CalyxOS pretty quick, and never mentioned it again, but they have set up a website calyxos.org and their code repo is showing lots of nice developments underway - like including and improving Backup app - https://gitlab.com/calyxos/calyxos/issues/2
Also only non stock OS to be supported by the very nice #GrapheneOS auditor app attestation.app/about
@dazinism Whats's that?
@wildermann Looks like the page may not public any more.
Pretty certain it'll be an AOSP fork. Said its being presented & details released in a couple of weeks at The Internet Freedom Festival.
