I'm kind of sick of my newsfeeds being full of news and opinions from the USA that have less and less relevant to my life.
Back from holiday! 🌴
There is no universal copyright law for the streets. There can be no "GPL but for the streets", there is no instrument that allows you to reclaim what should be a citizen's public goods.
There's a million local and municipal laws, different in every city, that allows the uniform battle front of the "smart city" to proceed unimpeded against the people. It's ready-made divide and conquer.
CALL FOR P2P HOUSING IN NYC
Hi all 👋
We are 2 french people coming to NYC for "The People’s Disruption" conference.
We'll be there from 09 Nov to 15 Nov.
Would be really nice if we could be hosted by friends, instead of ending on AirBNB. New York is really expensive.
Do you have a place to stay?
Tell us 🙂
We can cook a quiche lorraine for you.

From Paris with love ♥️

He who watches the streets controls the streets.
Urban services based on "data extractivism” Google’s plan to revolutionise cities is a takeover in all but name.
Something people who are good with tech stuff need to remember, because all too often they don't.
What's obvious to you isn't what's obvious to everyone. Including the person you're talking to, who probably feels stupid because they haven't seen or understood this "obvious" thing.
Idea: people should work more towards achieving their own goals and stop telling others what to do to achieve theirs, how to represent, discuss, or name the things they do without having intimate knowledge of their decisionmaking process, their cultural backgrounds, and the particular situations, constraints, and settings in which they live.
It's incredibly offensive to assume they didn't/can't think it through before they made a decision.
It doesn't hurt to show some humility and ask first.

By the way, whenever you nitpick on anti-fascist fashion, anti-fascist semantics, anti-fascist media, anti-fascist protest, anti-fascist social work...
Please consider on the balance of your actions summing up what you did against fascists, and what you did to help anti-fascists, whether you have possibly been on the side of oppression.
Chances are that your privilege of having a guaranteed nazi-unimpeded existence is not helping your perspective.
I love the model (we registered #Resonate using this as our foundation + I would likely recommend it again) - and it is really versatile.
Perfect for a UK co-operative start-up.
