There will always be a special place in my heart for those people who reimport "international edition" textbooks to the US. Over the years they have made so much knowledge accessible to me and, I assume, many others.

@cstanhope When I was in college, the textbook required for the two physics classes I had to take cost $180 at the bookstore. I bought an international edition from Singapore for $80, used it for both classes, then resold it for $60.
