@starbreaker I used to think not posting kid pics was about, like, if some perv was going to do something I didn't like with them. It wasn't until my oldest was about... 2? That I realized it was a consent issue and not about what might or might not happen with whatever I posted online.
Since then, I don't even like to use my kids' pronouns online, let alone names or images. Which is sort of a bummer because they are cut and folks would smile, but... not my choice.
