@aaronpk I have been in a situation a bit like this one where someone else had booked the flight for me and had wrangled an upgrade but not informed me in advance, and I had literally never been in first class before
@aaronpk If you'd asked me at the time to reason through my thinking, I probably would have realized, sheepishly, that some part of me thought:
All the coach seats I'd ever personally sat in were numbered, with rows starting at... 1, probably? I'd never sat in rows 1-9 but that didn't strike me as a prominent lacuna.
And First Class was surely, like, labelled with *something else*. Greek letters! Names? "First class seats A-K"? Not just "1B" like a plebian economy seat!
