This month off has really made me want to write about how contributing to #OpenSource is oftentimes mutually exclusive with having a #Disability.
And how that's super problematic in an open source economy.
@juliaferraioli YES. I've thought about a sort of panel interview that I'd like to conduct and publish in LWN or something, interviewing disabled contributors and maintainers to talk about their work styles, accommodations, etc.
@kgerloff Please feel free to take this idea and run with it, as I clearly haven't done it yet and don't know when/if I'll be able to make the time. @juliaferraioli
