Adobe has cancelled everyone in Venezuela’s access to their apps and their risible Creative Cloud Seems like almost every cloud and subscription service is really about owning your data and dependence.

Although I'll admit that I'm signed up to like 3 cloud storage providers and thoroughly ensconced within the Google cloud app ecosystem myself these days

@ben_hr my take-away from this is that contributing to and encouraging the use of open-source alternative projects should be a national IT priority for a lot more countries now

@ben_hr to be fair, Adobe doesn't have much of a choice here. They're operating under a Trump executive order, the USA governing by fiat like the dictatorship we've become.
