@ben_hr this confirms what I already knew, apps suck far more data from you.

at least if you have FB running in Firefox on your phone you can stop this shit by using all sorts of great add-ons.


I always access Facebook (and other social networks like Mastodon) via the web browser on desktop and on mobile.

I never understood grumbles about "there's no good App for social network X". In these cases, that's a feature, not a bug. :-)
