Maybe if we rebrand "remote work" as "cost-saving through near-shoring", the idea would be more palatable to a certain kind of exec.


There is the danger that such a reframing would further contribute to the harmful idea that remote employees are "less than" or somehow more expendable or less human than folks that you see every day. 🤔
