GraphQL: the good:

- DSL for describing your graph*
- Specify exactly what you want
- Generic and can be implemented by any programming language and data store

GraphQL: the bad:

- Lack of first-class pagination
- Doesn't DSL hard enough

GraphQL: the looks-bad-but-isn't:

- DoS via complex queries, so long as you design your API with this in mind
