Adam Greenfield

Well, beloved, it’s real. You can preorder my book “Beyond Hope” as of now. If you suspect that , or the example of suggest strategies to survive a hot, dangerous future, if you want to learn from examples ranging from the Black Panther survival programs to the solidarity clinics of Greece, or if you’re interested in a concrete working-out of ideas in the form of the community resilience hub, this is the book for you. amazon.co.uk/Beyond-Hope-Colle

@adamgreenfield Will we be able to pre-order directly from Verso?

@adamgreenfield what's the best way to buy (pre-order) a digital copy? My eyes are getting so bad that a physical book, much as I have loved them in the past, is a lot harder to read than something with easily enlargeable text.

@adamgreenfield going to preorder just the moment i figure out how to do it from continental europe.

@woodbark @adamgreenfield tell me when you've figured it out plz?
Also, reading group when it comes out? I might know a person or 5 that would be up for it...

@playinprogress nope, not yet. Verso UK does not even list it. Tried a bookstore preorder about 3 weeks ago, they could not find it either.

@adamgreenfield are there going to be color-variant covers?!

@adamgreenfield gonna see if my co-op bookstore will be able to pre-order this for me (they also tend to stock stuff i pre-order)

@adamgreenfield Congrats on this! I can't wait to read it.

@adamgreenfield wow congratulations and thanks this really sounds inspiring

@adamgreenfield Hi Adam, I'm new to your work so apologies for any ignorance. Looks a fascinating read. There seems a bit of a glut of recent books on a similar theme; I'm a big fan of Jon Alexander's Citizens and currently reading Lisa Nandy's All In. Would be interested to know how you think your book complements/differs from these?

@adamgreenfield Can't wait to read this and also buy a copy for my local mutual aid library. Many thanks and congrats.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do a pre-order link for it through IndieBound? It would be great if I could boost one through them, but I'm not finding an option there.

@adamgreenfield will it be available as an e-book as well?

@adamgreenfield I don't see any United States links when I search for it yet but I will keep my eyes open.

@adamgreenfield We must not forget #Rojava or the NSA targeting that was used for mass murder of innocents there.

@adamgreenfield I found it at Blackwells and they ship to US easily, so ordered.

Thank you!

@adamgreenfield Huge congratulations! Can't wait for it to drop.

@adamgreenfield out of interest, does it discuss transitioning from adhoc community support strategies to improving the system itself? Maybe using those strategies as a foundation to build on?

I’m definitely interested in all of these strategies, and I actively support them, but I worry that by helping lessen the more visible symptoms of a broken society we lessen the perceived need for a more structural solution for the issues that cause it.

Dear @adamgreenfield, I'd love to read it, can I buy it directly from you and not from Amazon? Pleeease? :DDD

We will have it in our collective library (we are a semi-urban sociocratic and permaculture based community near Buenos Aires called Confluencia).

Thanks a lot... :)
