Only managed about 6 minutes of the ArsenalVisionPodcast - disappointing that only Clive Palmer was on - hubris is off the charts.

Will give ArseBlog a try...

Would be amazing to find an independent Arsenal podcast from fans who aren't employed by or reliant on the club for access - it just ends up either uncritical and super-safe or straight-up club propaganda/PR.

Managed 22 minutes this week before Clive Parker jokes that his work is almost done because he agreed with the host's opinion.

Spends so much time telling people/fans how they should watch/view/think about the team.

Apparently he's a coach but seems to have confused coaching players with coaching fans...

Bizarre gatekeeping behaviour but I guess it is more and more rewarded by the club.

Interesting that this week I have managed to complete and enjoy both podcasts - the subject being - speculation and figuring out how we will set up etc.

I did skip the front-end gushing about their time supporting the club marketing-PR junket, so that probably helped.

@MutualityWSDEs Guess you feel that right now because the club is on a high. Gunnerblog actually referenced to the lack of negativity in general when it came to Arsenal management in this weeks podcast.

@gunnerfunda
Both podcasts had a different energy to them, I felt.

Maybe because, they are not reviewing a match and it's not a transfer that is done yet. Both these things tend to be contentious.

For speculation, their critical impulses don't need to be as suppressed as they will be if Raya arrives, at which point they will all most likely brilliant & they have learned a lot from it happening or 'wait & see' with the implication that it will work out & we will learn a lot from it happening.
