Has anyone polled or focused grouped whether people like being described as "vulnerable"?
The left often talks about "vulnerable"/"most vulnerable" people.
A lot of the most exploited workers are some of the toughest and most resilient people and take pride in that.
Does the right better allow them to take pride in that, while the left seems to want to stress their weaknesses?
@LeoSammallahti Yea, I wonder. I don’t think it's positive. Maybe it comes from liberals - identifying more with the ruling class, separate from people they are trying to “help”. But I think it can move people who don’t want to see themselves as victims and aren't super political more right instead of more left. Made me think of this: https://organizing.work/2020/07/what-does-a-worker-look-like/
