What are some good resources for developing communication and conflict resolution protocols so that we can have difficult conversations without hot emotions? Please share your thoughts and resources. Thanks. 🙂

@vortex_egg You might want to provide some context to your quote. It is very ironic because they are actually showing exactly how politically motivated fact checkers use that kind of emotional language you are referring to and make strawman arguments to debunk a weaker version of the claim that no one is advocating.

@vortex_egg Of course anyone who questions the dominant mainstream view of science is going to be called pseudoscience even if they are more scientific than the mainstream. All challenges to the dominant paradigm are labeled heretics, more on this is from the book about scientific paradigms book4you.org/book/2515867/648b

Also I don't know of any fact checker websites that are not themselves biased and in most cases funded by the same people who profit from debunking the relevant claims.

@vortex_egg But to apply some critical thinking regarding who gets to decide what is or is not misinformation or what it means to call something a conspiracy theory I recommend thinking about this article and apply the methods here to evaluate claims. organicconsumers.org/blog/covi

@vortex_egg I guess if you want to apply SIFT method to evaluate this then go to the original source which is Noam Chomsky manufacturing consent. 1lib.us/book/2930893/657fc4
and new media monopoly book4you.org/book/1044337/522d

@vortex_egg The first thing I do is follow the money. Who is funding the organization? Who profits from what is being reported? You will find a lot of money in the infodemic leads back to NGOs funded by people who profit from vaccines and lockdowns. Don't trust any source with big money and big pharma in it. Educate yourself on who owns the media. odysee.com/@theconsciousresist

@Matt_Noyes @GuerillaOntologist @daspitzberg I think that you are right about organizing. You must start with networks, communities, and ecosystems then work with them to build tools to help them not the other way around. I think it was Ned who I met in the platform coops now course who made this clear. nenad-rava.medium.com/platform

Also your translation of geo.coop/articles/how-create-s says this.

@Matt_Noyes @GuerillaOntologist @daspitzberg I was surprised the unions did not want ownership. "Between the unions and foundations I had conversations with at various conferences, I got this funny feeling that they didn’t want workers to have ownership. They’re totally willing to give grants and money to push the status quo a little, but to redesign the structure didn’t seem of interest to them."
I wonder if he is talking about just the union leaders. Do gig economy workers not want ownership?

Does anyone know of the least biased search engines, I like blog.mojeek.com/2018/08/indepe
But others even duckduckgo do not have their own crawlers and are subject to biases of other search engines, DDG uses bing or microsoft.

Can anyone recommend any news search engines that search all independent media that are really free of conflicts of interests? goodgopher.com/ is one but it always just shows server is busy.
