I'm #hiring again!
Do you care about developer productivity? Do you want to help people make better software more easily and (hopefully) more quickly? That's what we're doing in the Release Engineering team at WMF.
I'm looking for candidates with wide varieties of backgrounds. The most important quality you possess is the ability to learn and a deep desire to make things better.
Join my team as a Software Engineer!
Plus, you'd get to work with @Greg ! I did when I was at CC and working with Greg is great, A++
Is the remote option serious? Or will only SFO be considered?
I know it seems silly to ask ("It says right on the posting!") but so many listings have that as a default and forget.
@SelectElderberry serious. Current team member locations are: 2 bay area, 1 California-other, 1 Colorado, 1 Missouri, 1France, and 1 Croatia. So between Pacifc and CEST timezones.
@Greg So, Australia would be less than ideal?
@carlozancanaro less, but not out of the question for the right candidate. We only have 1 person in Australia, afaik, in the org. There's a team with many in India/Asia working on Language/Internationalization/etc engineering.
@Greg tried my best writing a cover letter :/
@Greg general hiring q, would you happen to know if Comm Tech still wants someone? Interning there would be A+
@danielhglus I'm not sure! I can reach out to someone there...
