Just a few fungi this morning.
We need a break from processing* today, so resisted picking anything that wasn't to be used today πŸ˜ƒ
Penny bun, puffball, scaber and the very first of the entheogenics. (Surprised they are out this early in that spot)

*(Could easily pick several kilograms of chanterelles within a couple of miles, but picking takes way less time than cleaning and preparing 😝 so sometimes it's good to remember that.)

@CreatureOfTheHill I wonder if an ultrasonic cleaner might help with chantarelles? Conceivably, that might break up the dirt to the point cleaning them was just a matter of rinsing.

Oh, tap a brush does the job.
It's just the quantity πŸ˜ƒ
What we do need is an old school waterproof apron, as we often have to get changed afterwards.

Our ultrasonic cleaner is tiny. Good for jewellery and small parts, but probably only 3 or 4 mushrooms πŸ˜†

Have semi-seriously considered a large fine mesh bag and a rope. Then dropping them in the river to rinse until the next day...
