Question: what if cryptocurrencies are just the way ancaps are trying to commodify, measure and sell #trust?
@Antanicus
then you propably found out 'the reason' for money: miss trust
@paulfree14 @Antanicus Money is not only about trust, neither is cryptocurrency only about trust. #Duniter is a good example but is not the only one.
@Antanicus @inso
yes true. It's for example also used to allocate resources.I believe that's actually not the reason that money exists as we could also organise it using a different method
Thought if I ask 'anyone', 'how about we just abolish money and organise completly different' it has until know always biold down to the argument of miss trust.
That's of course not based on any scientific research, but my experience from talking with hundreds of semi random ppl.
@Antanicus @inso
I'd be interested in other examples beside duniter. would you mind pointing me to some?
Or will I find it on the #duniter webpage?
@Antanicus @inso
have u heard about #faircoin and its ecosystem? they helped to build stuff in #rojava
@Antanicus @inso @ajeremias
yes I'm aware of #faircoin.
And that it reached #rojava I asume thanks to ppl around Amir Taaki
@paulfree14 @Antanicus @ajeremias Impressive personnage.
@inso @paulfree14 @Antanicus inspiring personage! :)) let's all be personages!!! ✊
@paulfree14 @Antanicus You should take a read at the 3 producers problems http://en.trm.creationmonetaire.info/probleme-des-trois-producteurs.html
@Antanicus @inso
if I remember correct is the '3 producers problem' based on the satus quo of individial trading on exclusion of commons and (really) free market exchange.
It explains the rationality of introducing money into such a system, but doesn't explain why to organize in a way that the '3 peoducers problem' patterns doesn't acures at all.
(if this sounds nonsense, I'm sorry and need to take a deeper look at the linked article)
@Antanicus well, they will learn that trust only works if you give a little more than it's worth, a little more than you should rationally.
@Antanicus What if cryptocurrencies are just beanie-babies wrapped up in code?

Everybody who has bought bitcoin as in investment since last November has lost money...and some of them a lot of money. It's a classic pump-and-dump...imho.
